Membership Application Form will be available here

The goals of the Friends are as follows:

  • to increase participation by Aboriginal people in Museum activities;
  • to increase the Museum’s public profile by greater promotion of exhibitions;
  • to improve the use of the collections by educators not associated with the University;
  • to increase interaction between children and Aboriginal people through Museum Family Days, to broaden understanding of indigenous cultures.

The Friends group was formed in 1992 by Convocation, the graduate body of The University of Western Australia. Membership is not restricted to graduates, and anyone interested is welcome to apply.
